The Nike Air Max 1 was first introduced in 1987 as a high performance running shoe and was the first Nike sneaker with a visible air unit. 

These Nike WMNS Air Max 1 sneakers feature a Julep/Julep-White-Matte Silver colourway with a classic shape which is made from smooth soft julep fabric on the mudguard. Other features are a white mesh toe box including the tongue, orange upper lace holes and Nike stitching on the back and on the tongue, a yellow inner lining and Air unit and a julep felt swoosh.
